AIITA works through four committees, at both the national and state levels. Their common aim is Human Resource Development in different fronts and levels in the field of education.

IAC

Issue Addressing Cell

Listens to the real problems teachers face and works, level by level, to address and resolve them.

Objectives

Take up teachers' service, pay and workplace issues at the appropriate level.
Coordinate with other organisations where a matter needs wider support.
Maintain a clear stand on the issues affecting teachers.
Guide members on service rules, leave rules, taxation and retirement benefits.
EPSC

Educational Policy Studies Committee

Studies educational policy and curriculum, and puts forward considered positions on behalf of teachers.

Objectives

Critically review educational philosophies, policies and methods.
Examine government and non-government textbooks and curriculum.
Identify objectionable content and press for its correction.
Offer constructive proposals on the education system.
ETMC

Educational Technology and Media Committee

Brings modern teaching technology into the classroom, and carries the association's voice and work across print and digital media.

Objectives

Train teachers in ICT, coding, open schooling and modern classroom tools.
Run technology-integration programmes at central and state level.
Support teachers of deeni madaris with modern educational methods.
Develop content creators for print, electronic and social media.
HERC

Higher Educational and Research Cell

Promotes higher learning and research among teachers and students, and builds links with institutions of higher education.

Promote interest in higher education among students and teachers.
Build engagement with institutions of higher education and research.
Encourage a research temperament among the cadre.
Support members pursuing further study and academic work.
